The east and west rear additions (built around 1898) are visible on the brick structure as well as the small frame structure on the right edge that was originally built for a class room about 1891. After 1900 this frame structure became the janitor's home; in 1928 it was moved across the street. After 1922 it was renamed Hathaway School.
