Description
English: Map of Sicily, (Kingdom of Sicily) on the Kitab-ı Bahriye (Book of Navigation) by en:Piri Reis
Date Originally composed in 1525 CE and dedicated to Sultan Süleyman I (the Magnificent), this work by Piri Reis on navigation was later revised and expanded. The present manuscript, made mostly in the late seventeenth century CE, is based on the later expanded version.
