This is an image of a building or other location within the Pioneer Square-Skid Road Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The district has been successively enlarged, and hence has multiple NRHP IDs: 70000086, 78000341, and 88000739

Summary

Description Looking east along James Street from Pioneer Square, Seattle, Washington. At left is the Iron Pergola and Pioneer Building. At center is the "sinking ship" parking garage on the former site of the Occidental Hotel / Seattle Hotel. Just behind the parking garage at left are the Collins Block and the King County Courthouse, and at right the Smith Tower. The building with the Starbucks sign is relatively recent (1980s) and replaces the Olympic Block, which collapsed in the 1970s.
