| Description |
Deutsch: Südsüdwestansicht der Pollereshütte nächst dem Gipfel des 1523 m hohen Sonnwendstein in der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Schottwien.
Ursprünglich befand sich an dieser Stelle das Berghotel Pollereshaus, das jedoch im Juni 1985 abbrannte und durch die jetzige Pollereshütte ersetzt wurde. Von Maria Schutz führte auch ein 1956 eröffneter Einsersessellift, später eine 2er-Sesselbahn, bis zum Pollereshaus bzw. zur Hütte. Im Jahr 2005 wurde er jedoch wegen nicht erfüllbarer behördlicher Auflagen geschlossen und anschließend demontiert. Von Schottwien aus ist die Waldschneise jedoch noch immer gut sichtbar.
