| Description | A U.S. Navy North American SNJ Texan is the first plane landing at the newly constructed Runway E at the Naval Air Station Adak, Alaska (USA). Runway E at Andrews Lagoon on Adak had been constructed by Seabees of the 32nd Naval Construction Battalion between 26 December 1943 and 16 January 1944. |
