Deutsch: Ruine der Frankenmühle am Eiterbach
Der ehemalige Walldürner Bürgermeister Hildenbrand schreibt in Volksüberlieferungen von Walldürn, in: Alemannia XXXIV (NF 7), 1906, Seite 263 [...] Die 8. Mühle befand sich im Hornbacher Tale auf Walldürner Gemarkung und hieß Frankenmühle, da sie ein hiesiger Bürger, Dreikönigswirt Frank, gebaut hat. Diese Mühle mit Äcker und Wiesen wurde im Jahr 1886 im Zwangswege an die Stadt Walldürn um 9600 M. verkauft. Die Wiesen wieder wurde an Hornbacher Landwirte um 3400 M. verkauft und das Ackerfeld zu Wald angelegt. Die Gebäulichkeiten wurden auf den Abbruch um 700 M. verkauft. [...] |
