English: Radiotehnika 101 stereo component system was made in the Soviet Union by RRR Radiotehnika in Riga since 1983. The amplifier was also assembled in Rostov under Orbita label. The turntable and tuner were very good for the price point, the amplifier barely decent, but the system as a whole was let down by its main source - the cassette deck. The manufacturer failed to secure supply of quality tape transports, and had to use an unreliable Hungarian-made transport that wasn't really up to hi-fi specs. This, in turn, prompted the company to downgrade the original amplifier design to a far less capable production variant.

Проигрыватель и тюнер были хороши - за свою цену - усилитель был посредственным, а кассетная дека откровенно слабой. Производитель не сумел добиться одобрения на импорт качественных лентопротяжных механизмом, и был вынужден использовать ненадёжный и не отвечающий требованиям hi-fi ЛПМ венгерского производства. |
