Post-medieval buckle: Shoe buckle
Description
English: A fragment of a copper alloy sub-rectangular shoe buckle dating to the Georgian period. The buckle has a drilled framed for the insertion of the spindle and the remains of moulded decoration either side of this hole. This style of buckle was in use between c. AD 1720-1790.
