Description
Deutsch: Die Gedenktafel befindet sich in der Neustiftgasse.

Text der Gedenktafel: Palais Trautson, Sitz der von Maria Theresia 1760 gegründeten ungarischen Leibgarde, war über 200 Jahre Zentrum ungarischer Kultur. Von hier aus verbreitete sich die ungarische Aufklärung durch die literarische Tätigkeit der Leibgardisten György Bessenyei, Sandor Baroczi, Abraham Barcsai, Sandor Kisfaludy, u.a. von 1924 bis 1963 als Collegium Hungaricum, Heimstätte ungarischer Wissenschaft und Kunst in Österreich.

Die Büste des oben erwähnten ungarischen Schriftstellers und Dramatikers György Bessenyei befindet sich neben dem Palais Trautson im Weghuberpark.
