Description
English: A way to Kizhur which is 22 kms., away from Pondicherry towards West.

This village is an important in the History of Freedom struggle.

Since the then French Establishment had conducted a Referendum for seeking opinion for either they may be united with Indian Union or to continue as a French territory.

Most of the representatives have voted for cessation from French Establishment.
