Description
English: Photo of an old retired farmer on the road in Spring of 2012. He told me he had still participated in cultivating the last original moors around Smilde and Veenhuizen into agriculture land, circa 1950, to obtain in this way his fields for starting an own farm. He wears a cap, typical for old farmers from Drenthe.
