Description
Centsprent met 4 x 4 houtsneden, met een bewerking van het sprookje van Charles Perrault. Duimken strooit zand en vindt de weg naar huis terug. Opnieuw laat de houthakker zijn kinderen achter in het bos, en dit keer is het gestrooide brood opgepikt. Ze komen in het huis van de menseneter, Duimken verwisselt hun kleren met die van de zonen van de menseneter, en die snijdt zijn eigen kinderen het hoofd af. Ze vluchten, Duimken pakt de laarzen van de menseneter. Duimken brengt tijdingen van de kooning naar het leger, de koning overlaadt hem met geschenken en Duimken keert naar zijn familie terug. Met onderschriften van enkele regels.
