Description

Space-filling model of a nicotine molecule, C10H14N2, as found in the crystal structure of a so-called crystalline sponge (clathrate) consisting of a nicotine guest in a macrocyclic tetraimine host. The structure was determined by single-crystal x-ray diffraction and reported in Chem. Sci. (2015) 6, 5466-5472 (CSD entry: AHEZAQ).
