Français : Le nævus sébacé (ou hamartome sébacé) est une lésion congénitale localisée principalement au cuir chevelu, dont le diagnostic clinique et histologique est généralement aisé. Cette lésion peut se compliquer de tumeurs bénignes ou de façon plus rare malignes et il est parfois encore enseigné qu’il faut en réaliser l’excision prophylactique. Le risque de développement de carcinomes a été très surévalué, d’abord par un biais de publication évident, les cas non compliqués n’étant plus publiés. Le nævus sébacé peut s’intégrer dans le syndrome de Schimmelpenning-Feuerstein-Mims ou syndrome du nævus sébacé. |
