English: Nevers (Nièvre).
Cathédrale Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Julitte. Dans la crypte romane du XIe siècle : groupe de la Mise au tombeau en pierre polychrome. Les personnages sont représentés grandeur nature: La Vierge, Jean l'Evangéliste (qui soutient la Vierge), Marie-Salomé* et Marie-Cléophas*, portant chacune un pot à parfums, Marie-Madeleine, Nicodème (aux pieds du Christ) et Joseph d'Arimathie (à la tête du Christ). La polychromie a été refaite au XIXe siècle. La présentation dans la crypte date de 1832. Cette Mise au tombeau de la fin du XVe siècle, de style flamand-bourguignon, est d'origine est inconnue.
