Stockholm den 7/2 1942 från Norgefästen i Stadshuset.De kungliga avlyssnar stående ” Ja, vi elsker”. Norsk propaganda i Sverige. I Stadshuset i Stockholm holdtes 7. februar 1942 en soiree for Norge, hvor det svenske kronprinspar, prins Wilhelm og utenriksminister Günther og frue var til stede sammen med den norske charge dàffair, utenriksråd Bull. Soireen ble en veldig suksess og virket politisk som en svensk demonstrasjon mot Quislings krav under ”statsakten” på Akershus om offisiell representasjon i Sverige. Norwegian propaganda in Sweden. A soiree was held in Stadshuset in Stockholm on the 7th. Februar 1942 for Norway, when the Swedish Crown Prince and Crown Princess, Prince Wilhelm and charge d`affair Bull were present. The soiree was a great success, and politically it turned out to be a Swedish demonstration against Quisling`s claims to official representation in Sweden. Hvert år denne dagen ble det holdt store offisielle minnegudstjenester med svensk deltagelse. Frihetsforkjempere som Nordahl Grieg, Viggo Hansteen og Rolf Wickstrøm ble minnet og hedret med særskilte arrangementer. Fra 1943, da svensk opinion hadde snudd til fordel for Norge, kom det mange norsk-svenske fellesarrangementer. I Stockholm ble det dette året arrangert tre store sammenkomster med norske og svenske talere som hyllet norsk frihetskamp.» (Alle bildene i albumet er merket med No known copyright restrictions.) |
