Description
Português: Bem tombado em Fortaleza, Ceará, Brasil. Conjunto arquitetônico que abriga a sede do Governo do Estado do Ceará. Inaugurado na década de 1970, o projeto modernista do arquiteto Sérgio Bernardes é formado por 4 edifícios: o Palácio da Abolição, o Gabinete de Despacho, a Capela e o Monumento e Mausoléu do Presidente Castelo Branco, além do fosso e de jardins. O tombamento estadual ocorreu em 2011. Por decisão do governo do estado em 2023, o Mausoléu Castelo Branco deixará de existir cono tal, sendo sua estrutura adaptada para abrigar um monumento aos abolicionistas do Ceará. O monumento é uma grande estrutura em concreto armado, que apresenta um balanço de aproximadamente 30 metros. Vista geral.
