I also received a cord & letter from you & ma today saying you had sent me a box. It was dated the 5th. I guess you know that I sent home for $50.00 in one of my letters. You see I've got to buy a $100.00 war bond and won't have enough cash to buy that and go on liberty too. We have one more liberty, any way — maybe two. Since I've been in camp for nearly 8 weeks I thought I had better go on the next one or two liberties as I may never have another one. Remember that fight I got into some time ago?
