Description
English: Looking up at the western tower of the Bathing Pavilion or Beach Pavilion at the southeast corner of the Jacob Riis Park bathhouse, at Bay 4 along the Atlantic Ocean at the west end of Rockaway Beach Boulevard in Rockaway, Queens. The Beach Pavilion and the Entrance Pavilion at the north end of the complex have been gutted as part of a major renovation of the complex, to be completed by 2024. The gate underneath the tower originally lead to the "Women's Bath House" on the east side of the complex, split between the Western Section and open-air stalls in the western courtyard.
