Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a pencil illustration of a brownie, a creature from English and Scottish folklore, drawn by Spencer Alexander McDaniel. This illustration was begun in 2018, but was not completed until April 2020. The author of this illustration drew some very loose inspiration from nineteenth-century descriptions of brownies and from the illustrations of brownies in the 2005 children's book Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black.
