Deutsch: Der Niesen im Berner Oberland wurde von Holder insbesondere zwischen 1909 bis 1912 vom Ufer des Thunersees zwischen Oberhöfen und Gunten verschiedentlich gemalt. 1910 malte Holder drei Versionen in Bad Heustrich und Aeschi. Die beiden anderen Versionen von 1910 von der Ostflanke des Niesen befinden sich im Aargauer Kunsthaus Aarau sowie im Privatbesitz (Bätschmann/Müller 2008, Nr. 410 und 412).
