Description
Deutsch: Dresden-Hellerau: Waldschänke Hellerau - Am Grünen Zipfel 2. Durch einen Förderverein wurde aus einer Ruine ein modernes Bürgerzentrum. Seit 2013 ist sie eine Stätte für Kunst, Kultur, Kommunikation und Begegnung. 1898 eröffnete die Ausflugsgaststätte “Waldschänke” und ist das älteste Gebäude im Stadtteil Hellerau. 1908 fanden in den Räumen die ersten Verhandlungen zur Gründung der Gartenstadt Helleraus statt. Mit dem Bau der ersten Häuser "Am grünen Zipfel" wurde das Gebäude 1910 von Richard Riemerschmid, im Stil der neuen Siedlung umgebaut.
