日本語: 長崎県端島(軍艦島)北東側に位置する端島小中学校(70号)。1958年建設。増築された7階は一部の屋根が崩れているように見える。1階から4階までは小学校、5階と7階は中学校、6階の高窓がある部分は講堂。写真手前側はグラウンド。建物背後右寄りに1970年に建てられた体育館(71号)がある。(2017年8月撮影)
English: The Hashima Elementary and Junior High School (Building 70), built in 1958, located on the northeast area of Hashima (Gunkanjima), Nagasaki Prefecture (Japan). A section of the roof of the 7th floor extension seems to be collapsed. Elementary School was on the 1st to 4th floors, Junior High School was on the 5th and 7th (the extension) floors, and the 6th floor, with its high windows, was the auditorium. Right in front of the building (front side of the photo) there is the school playground. The gymnasium (Building 71), built in 1970, is on the right side just behind the school building.
