Summary

[edit]
Description We think of these creatures, commonly called "daddy long-legs," as spiders, but they are more closely related to mites or scorpions. They can be easily distinguished from spiders because they have a single pair of eyes in the middle of their head, whereas spiders have three or four pairs of eyes.
