Description
English: Arms of Hancock of Combe Martin, Devon (17th.c.): Gules, on a chief argent three cocks of the field. (Source: Heralds' Visitations of Devon, ed. Vivian, 1895, p.441). These arms are visible on the monument to Judith Hancock (d.1676), wife of Henry Stevens of Vielstone, on her mural monument in Great Torrington Church. Monuments to the Hancock family also exist in Combe Martin parish church.
