Description

Gorton Monastery, Gorton, Manchester, England, under restoration. Previously, the building had been derelict since it closed for worship in 1989, and it had suffered vandalism and looting. Showing the cloister.

Note: Many images in this set from 28 May 2006 are blurred or otherwise unsatisfactory. However they have been uploaded because they constitute a record of what was happening to the building during that year.
