Description View of the George Cannon School, U.S. Naval Air Station Midway, Sand Island, Midway Atoll (USA). The school was in operation from 1946 to 1978. The building depicted was finished in 1959. Douglas Carson and Howard Sakahara were the first high school students to graduate from the school on 3 June 1959.
