Dargestellt sind Georg Hörmann von und zu Gutenberg (1491–1552, ganz rechts) und seine Söhne Johann Georg (1513–1562), Christoph (1514–1586), Ludwig (1515–1588), Bernhard (1518/1518), Rudolph (1519–1520), Matthäus (1520–1541) und Anton (1522–1594). Georg Hörmann (1491–1552) war Kaufbeurer Bürger und Patrizier, Hauptfaktor (Oberverwalter) von Jakob Fugger und Anton Fugger, Berater König Ferdinands I. und Eigentümer des Edelsitzes Gutenberg im heutigen Ostallgäu.

Depicted are Georg Hörmann von und zu Gutenberg (1491–1552, on the far right) with this sons Johann Georg (1513–1562), Christoph (1514–1586), Ludwig (1515–1588), Bernhard (1518/1518), Rudolph (1519–1520), Matthäus (1520–1541) and Anton (1522–1594). Georg Hörmann (1491–1552) was patrician and citizen of Kaufbeuren, chief factor of Jakob Fugger and Anton Fugger, couselor to King Ferdinand I. and Lord of Gutenberg manor in nowadays Ostallgäu.
