| Description |
English: Principle of polarization-modulated reflection absorption infrared spectroscopy (PM-RAIRS; also known as polarization-modulated infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy, PM-IRRAS) using the example of carbon monoxide adsorbed on a metal surface. Perpendicular to the vibrating surface CO group can only interact with p-polarized radiation.
Deutsch: Funktionsprinzip der polarisationsmodulierten Infrarot-Reflexions-Absorptions-Spektroskopie (PM-IRRAS) am Beispiel von adsorbiertem Kohlenstoffmonoxid an einer Metalloberfläche.
