[edit]DescriptionFrom the Archives Split Rock Lighthouse - September 2010 (6124046710).jpg |
I visit Split Rock Lighthouse at least one time a year. I don't know what it is about that place, but something about says "Home" to me. I'm not sure why. It is certainly one of the things I photograph a lot. I was looking through my archives and found this group that I had not uploaded from last fall. I'm not sure why I didn't upload them, but here they are! Looking up at the lens. This is a 3rd order fresnel lens and is the original. It is a bi-valve type and has two bullseye flash panels. The whole lens rotates to provide the flash. |
