Слика 25. – Кремена оруђа из другога, мустијерскога века палеолитске периоде, повађена сва из старих наноса разних река у Француској. Сва, сем ножића под 2 представљена су с горње и са доње стране. Доња им је страна обично глатка; на њој се види ожиљак и плик од ударца (4а, 5а, 6а, 1 и 3). Горња им је страна грубо окресана а често (4, 6, 1а) по ободу ситно ретуширана да би се лакше могло њоме сећи. Предмет под 3, 3а могао је служити као стругало, они шиљати за копља, а предмет под 4 највише се приближује првобитној алатки.
