Summary
[edit]| Description |
English: Saint-Maurice Cathedral is a major landmark in the cityscape, with its two spires, 75 metres (246ft) high. The construction of the current building started during the 12th century on the remains of an older sanctuary.
The twin spires were built in 1518 and 1523. The pipe organ has been in the Cathedral as early as the 14th Century. But the current incarnation was built only in 1617. |
