| Description |
English: Falkur is a 5-mannafar, a wooden Faroese row boat, which is used for the annual boat races around the islands every summer in June and July. On this photo the boat is manned by girls. Falkur belongs to the rowing club from Hósvík, which is called Hósvíkar Róðrarfelag. This photo was taken in Tórshavn at the Olavsoka Festival on 28 July 2010.
Føroyskt: Falkur er føroyskur kappróðrarbátur, eitt fimmannafar. Tað er Hósvíkar Róðrarfelag sum eigur bátin. Myndin er frá Ólavsøku 2010. |
