Description
Español: Escudo del municipio de Ventaquemada, Boyacá (Colombia):[1]
Forma: Española Clásica.
Cantón diestro del jefe: en color azul, un pergamino y una pluma clásica.
Cantón siniestro del jefe: en color amarillo, en su centro y en metal oro, la balanza.
Cantón inferior de punta: en su color natural, el antiguo Puente de Boyacá con el sol naciente, anteponiéndole y cruzadas en su base un arcabúz y una pica.
Bordura: de color rojo, y en él en color negro la leyenda “VENTAQUEMADA”, en su parte superior; en la parte inferior la fecha de su fundación “1777”, en su diestra la palabra “LEALTAD” y en su siniestra la palabra “TRABAJO”, circundando su bordadura y la separación de sus cuarteles, una línea en metal oro.
