Deutsch: Einbeck - Brodhaus, 1540-1600 Fachwerk, Ständehaus der Bäckergilde mit Blick in die Münsterstraße. Davor Till Eulenspiegel-Brunnen auf dem Marktplatz, errichtet im Zweiten Weltkrieg 1942. Gewidmet dem norddeutschen Schalk Till Eulenspiegel, der einer Legende nach, einst Braugeselle in Einbeck war. Sein Braumeister soll noch während eines nicht abgeschlossenen Brauvorgangs Till wegen einer Feier allein gelassen haben. Vor seinem Weggang soll er Till beauftragt haben, den für die Bierherstellung notwendigen Hopfen in der Braupanne zu sieden. Der Schalk Till Eulenspiegel soll sich aber den Hund des Brauers namens Hopf gegriffen haben, um das Tier in der Braupfanne zu sieden. Übrich blieben nur das Gerippe und das Fell. Der Schabernack lag in der sprichwörtlichen Umsetzung des Gesagten. Die Brunnenfigur stellt einen Braugesellen mit Schürze dar, der mit einer Hand einen Hund am Hals packt um diesen dann zu sieden. Auch soll das Sprichwort: ...da wird ja der Hund in der Pfanne verrückt..." hier eine bildhafte Umsetzung gefunden haben. |
