Description
English: Drombeg Stone Circle Also known as the Druid's Altar this is a Bronze Age stone circle about 9 metres in diameter, with an orientation such that a view through the circle towards the largest stone lines up with a prominent notch in a distant hillside at sunset at the winter solstice. Beyond the circle are the ruins of two round stone walled prehistoric huts.
