Die Schneidemühle im Tal der Lohsalm bei Meisburg ist einer der letzten Holz sägenden Wassermühlen Deutschlands. Sägewerker Josef Schneider nutzte seine Mühle bis 1968 gewerblich. Danach restaurierte er die Anlage und erhielt sie voll funktionsfähig. Heute wird sie interessierten Besuchern vorgeführt. Der Film erläutert die Betriebstechnik und die Arbeitsabläufe.
