Great photo showing police in Solihull forcing entry to a house during a warrant this morning. As part of their latest response to complaints about anti social behaviour and drug use, officers from the Shirley neighbourhood policing team executed two warrants at properties in Cole Green today (Friday 17). During the warrants, officers seized the remains of a Cannabis cultivation setup and suspected stolen items including power tools. Inspector Darren Wilson from Solihull police said: "Today"s warrants are in direct response to the concerns raised, and information provided by our local community. "Officers from the team regularly meet with local residents at community meetings and police surgeries and one of the issues regularly discussed is anti social behaviour. "We've already seen a real improvement in the area and the feedback from our local community has been really positive. We will continue to carry out operations like today"s to ensure this continues." Members of the public are being encouraged to contact their local policing team on 101 to report concerns about anti social behaviour or any other criminal activity. |
