Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Darlene Herbert and Velma Wallis, cousins originally from Fort Yukon, Alaska, pose for a photo at the fellowship hall of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Fairbanks, Alaska. They were attending an annual remembrance service for the missing and murdered. For Wallis, the occasion was one of tragedy for her family. The focal point of this year's service was her brother, Johnny, who was found burning while sleeping in the lobby of the downtown post office in January and later died of his injuries.
