English: 'Diamond Lil'. (Ex 44-02366). Seen here taxiing on arrival for RIAT 92. This aircraft was built against an RAF order as a Liberater Mk.1, but was damaged in Canada on delivery in 1941 and stayed in the USA. Serial allocated was AM927. This is the worlds oldest airworthy B-24. |
