Description
English: Gaston mural painting, by André Franquin. Location: Rue de l'Ecuyer 9 (Schildknaapstraat 9), Brussels. Surface: ± 39 m². Realisation: Oreopoulos G. and Vandegeerde D. Year: February 2007. Comment: Gaston is a comic strip created in 1957 by the Belgian cartoonist André Franquin in the comic strip magazine, Spirou. The series focuses on the every-day life of Gaston Lagaffe, a lazy and accident-prone (his surname means "the blunder") office junior.

nl: André Franquin (Etterbeek, 3 januari 1924 - Saint-Laurent-du-Var, 5 januari 1997) was een Belgische striptekenaar, vooral bekend voor zijn reeks Guust Flater. Daarnaast was hij medeauteur van de serie Marsupilami en Robbedoes en Kwabbernoot.
