English: Coastal defences at Bartraw Strand Bartraw Strand comprises a narrow peninsula of sand dunes with a beach on either side. This shows the western beach towards the isthmus which connects Bartraw to the mainland. Many large rocks with gabions above have been installed to protect the isthmus from the sea. |
