Description
English: Copper alloy

Clasp; finder suggests book clasp. Oval plate decorated with a stamped floral cross, and with a narrow shank folded behind it; the latter is expanded in width and broken. The stamped design shows on reverse, due to the thin metal used. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600.
