Summary
[edit]DescriptionChapel Lane, Belfast - geograph.org.uk - 1134490.jpg |
English: Chapel Lane, Belfast. Chapel Lane runs from Castle Street to Berry Street 1125562. Is one of the older streets in central Belfast and was the site of St Mary's - the first Roman Catholic church in Belfast in 1788. The present St Mary's (the red building on the left) dates from 1868/9 to a design by John O'Neill. The street lost much of its character with the building of the Castle Court (background). |
