Description

Spikelets are 2-flowered, 6-8 mm long and surrounded by rough, straight bristles that fall

with the spikelets at maturity. Lower glume 1-1.25 mm long; upper 30–50% of the spikelet's length. Lower lemma is sterile and as long as the spikelet; upper lemma is fertile and similar to the lower lemma.
