Summary

[edit]
Description
Français : Carte universelle de Ptolémée. Tome IV. Page 35.
English: "Ptolomy's World Map", a comparison of Ptolemy's geographical knowledge with that of 18th-century Europe, from volume IV of Noël Antoine Pluche's Spectacle de la Nature. The southern expanse of Africa is labelled "Imaginary Ethiopia".
