"Camping on the North Nahanni River, NWT, Canada.
Bombproof, 100-trip tents are rare beasts. I've compared this one's double-wall, h-d poles and zippers to all other brands seen in campsites and stores for decades. Sets up in gale-force winds by one person in minutes. It was sniffed by many black bears for 25 years, before it met its demise a few trips later. Cannondale stopped making 2-person Lackawanna and 3-person Aristook aeons ago. The backpacking market demand is for lightweight, not durability, I guess. You know where there's one collecting dust in someone's garage? In a heartbeat! "
