Description |
Camelus dromedarius Linnaeus, 1758 Afrikaans: Wildlewende dromedarisse naby 'n oase in die Naukluftgebied, in die allerwestelike deel van die Khomas-streek, Namibië. Die Rostockberg in die agtergrond is op die Steenbokkeerkring geleë. Hierdie eilandberge bestaan uit skiste, gneis, graniet en marmer. In die voorgrond is wit kwarts- en gipsklippe, die bestanddele van die Namibduine.
English: Feral dromedaries near an oasis in the Naukluft region, in the far western part of the Khomas region, Namibia. The Rostock mountain in the background is situated on the Tropic of Capricorn. These inselbergs consist of schists, gneiss, granite and marble. In the foreground is white quartz and gypsum rocks, the constituents of the Namib dunes. |
