Summary

[edit]
Description

Taken from atop Mt. Battie in Camden, Maine looking out toward Penobscot Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. A two image panorama stitched in Elements 10. Camden town is located around the inlet on the right side. A very pretty harbor that is very busy in the summer season.

It is said that Edna St. Vincent Millay wrote her poem "Renascence" while enjoying the view from here. A plaque commemorates her poem here at the top.
