Português: O Caboclo de Lança – uma tradição de destaque no carnaval pernambucano – representa uma figura ancestral do povo local, presente tanto nas festividades carnavalescas quanto nos rituais do Maracatu Rural. Esse personagem é considerado um símbolo cultural do estado de Pernambuco.
English: The Caboclo de Lance – a prominent tradition in Pernambuco's carnival – represents an ancestral figure of the local people, present both in carnival festivities and in the Maracatu Rural rituals. This character is considered a cultural symbol of the state of Pernambuco.
